Every November we hold an event called Light up a Life. People are invited to make donations to the hospice in memory of a loved one or in celebration of a special occasion.

These donations ‘pay’ for a light in memory of a loved one on the huge horse chestnut tree, which is situated at the front of the hospice. The lights on the tree are switched on at a special ceremony and are illuminated every night until early January.
